It's been 17 years since my first diagnosis, and 13 years since my second. I know I'm still here for a reason. What scared me the most, was that my daughter was just 12 years old when I was first diagnosed, and I thought I would not be around to see her grow up. But I did! I was here to see her high school graduation, college graduation, and to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day.

So to keep it simple, I have seen everything in my life that is important. I don’t take life for granted, I live, laugh, love, and keep reminding how important it is to check yourself regularly. Today is a good day, and I always look forward to tomorrow.
