Arlon Inc. holds breast cancer research campaign

Arlon Inc. recently held its own internal corporate campaign to raise money for breast cancer awareness and treatment. The fundraiser was started at the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness month in October and continued until the holiday season, according to SpecialtyFabricsReview.com.

Arlon Inc. is a corporation that manufactures and markets their own line of print solutions for signs and large-scale graphics. The company used their resources and national exposure to set up booths at trade shows and conventions to continue to raise money for their campaign. Anyone who donated to the cause was given a pink bracelet and all the proceeds went directly to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

"Arlon believes it is our duty to be a good corporate citizen and look after the many great people who have been affected by cancer. The Susan G. Komen Foundation gives us a great opportunity to support those in need," Ron Hopkins, president of Arlon Inc., told the news provider.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure is the largest breast cancer support organization in the world with more than $1.5 billion donated since inception in 1982.
